Johnny Nichols Singer/Songwriter

Johnny cut his teeth in playing guitar in a local hardcore band (T.K.I.D.) back in 2006. He was pushed up to the front of the stage in 2008, Singing for an indie band (Nixon's Ghost). He hit the ground running chasing a more classic rock/psych style band (The Polite Bandits) in 2010. They recorded two full LP's within a few months of each other.

Then Johnny quit music. He burned it all down, sold his gear, and moved away. He went from the paradisiacal Southern California to working at a Radio Shack in St. Louis. He left his family and friends for all the wrong reasons.

Johnny got his act together in 2012 and moved back home. He published his first E.P. under his own name a few months later --The Unfocused E.P. He decided no more bands, no more bullshit… just focus on the songs.

Johnny has written, performed, recorded, mixed, & mastered all his own releases. He's dedicated to the idea that --just because you don't have the money for a studio or a band, it doesn't mean you can't make good records.
