All these songs have been written years ago, but i just wanted to release SOMETHING after all my own procrastination. In Strifes is Johnny Nichols’ debut full length album. Pre Production Began Summer 2012 and then was finally finished Spring 2014. Johnny used the title ‘Strifes’ due to the contradictions he noticed within himself and the relationships of loved ones around him. Also, lyrically, the album constantly switches moods from anger, happiness, apathy, and depression.
Johnny performed all the sounds heard on this album, with the designed challenge to make the songs sound live and raw like a full band.
